Welcome to Troop 466

Located in Davis, California, Troop 466 is a group of scouts from ages 11-17 committed to following the scout oath and law. Troop meetings are on Mondays from 7-8:30 at St. Martin's Church, and campouts are monthly.

Ski/Snowboard Day

We're going skiing! The trip is planned for Monday, March 23, (which is the first Monday of Spring Break for DJUSD)Whether you've skied for years or this will be your first time on snow, you're welcome. We'll organize groups by ability so everyone can improve and feel confident. And first timers are welcome too! Sugar Bowl has a great deal on first timer lessons, which includes lift tickets, lessons and gear, ($99). Otherwise, day tickets are just $49 for 12 and under and $77 for teenagers - as long as we book early! (Adults are $99)All are welcome but we need commitments soon so we can coordinate tickets and logistics.   Please note if you need rentals so we can coordinate that too!Please sign up in Scoutbook by next Friday, Mar 13. Join Davis Troop 466!

Troop 466 is scout-led, parent-guided troop where scouts actively participate in the troop, plan troop activities, and mentor younger scouts. The focus of the troop is to:

  • Offer scouts fun and adventure in a safe and responsible environment
  • Train scouts in citizenship, community service, and leadership
  • Organize at least one overnight outing for scouts per month
  • Instill lifetime values and develop ethical characters as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law
  • Provide an active rank advancement program for the scouts
